Something to smile about!

Snapped from the park I cross on the way into town.

I don't know who created this 'Smiley' to watch over us
in these troubled times, when there's talk of general strikes
and civil disobedience - but I'm really glad they did!

  1. We need a bunch huge smiley faces! Times are tough here.
Hey...I loved watching the big cats play with the pumpkins.
    Happy Halloween!

  2. Hi Jean - yes, we could do with a lot more of those smiley faces. That one overlooking our park certainly lifted my spirits!

I was only able to watch a bit of the big cats video because of my dodgy connection - it was sent to me by a neighbour who doesn't have any such difficulties.

  3. I agree we could use acres of them. Is it in a crop?

  4. Hi Carole - I know it doesn't look like it because I cropped out the foreground of lamp-posts and rugby posts but it's actually quite high up on the mountain where it's too high for crops. So I think it's probably cut out of the bracken.

  5. Oh what a treat of a Wednesday teatime! I'd like one of those in my garden I think. Thank you for that, Judy!

  6. You're welcome, Jan!

I think you'd need to have a 'mountain' in your garden, with plenty of bracken, to be able to see it from ground level!
